Voila...maybe I have drawn, even if it's infinitely less than usual. Here are some things in my slow-filling new sketchbook. I am also going to begin a new blog, chronically this whole graduating, looking for a job, illustration vs/ fine arts, grad school deal. Writing again, how refreshing!?

Visual identity...

Complete redesign for a custom stone fabricator in the San Francisco Bay Area. The challenge was to create a visual brand that both sets them apart from their competitors while reflecting their commitment to strength in both modern and more traditional design. The abstract shapes used in the header mimic the blueprints and templates used for custom counter-tops and tiling.

Well it's been a few weeks since I updated, via phone, but I am here. I arrived on the 20th of August, around 10pm Pacific time, exhausted and exhilirated. It's going to be an adjustment but I'm starting to really enjoy the area.

Lots of things in the works, just need some time and water and sun to make them grow. Once I have internet on my computer, I'll get to the posting of pictures.

Working today till one thirty. Starting to feel better. Can't believe i only have a month left here. Crazy!

HERE IT IS! FINALLY!!!!!!!

So...the Senior Illustration Show was a tremendous success and really made everything worth it. After many sleepless nights, fueled by coffee, junkfood and the will to survive, I finally got to take it all in. I was so touched and honoured by my friends and coworkers who came out to support me. Thank you to everyone who was there in person or in spirit. My younger sister drove out to see me since she is missing graduation and we had a lot of fun together. I'll have pictures up of the set-up later this month, but here are my FINAL pieces!
